Where to collect your car: Parking 1, two minutes from arrivals
Walk out of arrivals and Parking 1 is the car park directly in front of the terminal. Your car is waiting there in a numbered bay. A few minutes before your pick-up time we send you a WhatsApp with the exact bay and how to open the car. The car park is open 24 hours a day, which matters if you land on an evening flight. To return it, park in the same car park, let us know on WhatsApp and walk back to departures.
Two ways to pick up
Self Service – land and drive. It’s what most of our customers choose. No desk, no queue and no paperwork: the WhatsApp gives you the bay, the instructions to open the car and a link to sign the rental agreement on your phone. It works at any hour, late flights included.
Premium – we meet you in person. A member of our team waits for you at arrivals with a sign, walks you to the car and answers any questions before you set off. It costs a little more than Self Service and is handy with children or lots of luggage.
Either way, the car is handed over in the same place: Parking 1. We can also deliver it to your hotel or villa.

How it works, step by step
- Book online. Choose your dates and times; you pay when you book, and that’s the final price.
- Add your flight number when you book, so we know when you’re landing.
- When you land, the WhatsApp with your bay and the link to sign is waiting for you, or our colleague is waiting at arrivals if you chose Premium.
- Drive off. Most customers are on the road within five minutes of leaving arrivals.
- On your last day, park in Parking 1, message us and walk to departures.
Driving in Menorca if you’re coming from the UK
Menorca drives on the right and our cars are left-hand drive. A UK photocard driving licence is valid for visitors; bring it along with your passport. The main road, the Me-1, crosses the island from Maó to Ciutadella. On roundabouts, traffic flows anticlockwise and cars already on the roundabout have priority. How far is everything from the airport?
The airport is 5 km from Maó. Approximate driving times without traffic: Maó and Sant Lluís about 10 minutes; Es Castell and Binibeca about 15; Alaior about 15 and Son Bou about 25; Fornells about 30; Cala Galdana about 40; Ciutadella about 45 via the Me-1.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a credit card to hire a car at Menorca Airport?
No. A debit card is enough and nothing is held on it.
Is there a deposit or an excess?
Neither. Fully comprehensive insurance with zero excess is included in the price.
Where exactly is the car?
In Parking 1, the car park in front of the terminal, two minutes’ walk from arrivals. You get the bay number on WhatsApp a few minutes before your pick-up time.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Your car waits for you in its bay in Parking 1 at no extra cost, even in the middle of the night. We refund your Parking 1 exit ticket; only for pick-ups from 9 pm is it on you, up to €10. If it’s more, we pay the difference.
Can I return the car somewhere other than the airport?
Yes, at any of the drop-off points you see when you book. Returning it to Parking 1 at the airport or to our office in Maó costs nothing extra, with no queues and no waiting.
Do you have child seats?
Yes: boosters, with or without a backrest, are €4 a day, and child seats for children up to 18 kg are €6 a day, with a maximum of €48 per seat per rental. Add them when you book.
Can you deliver the car to my hotel?
Yes, we also deliver to hotels and villas around the island. Tell us where you’re staying when you book, or message us on WhatsApp.
Which car for a big family?
We have 6, 7 and 9-seaters with the same conditions: no deposit, zero excess and unlimited mileage.
